This patient had microfollicular unit hair transplantation. Results are shown at 4 months after 1 - 1000 graft session. Patients can have multiple hair transplant sessions (up to 6) depending on how much hair they would like restored. Sessions involve transplantation of 1000, 1500, or 2000 follicular units.
Before: The patient has typical male pattern baldness with hair loss along the hairline and widow's peaks. The first picture on the left shows the area transplanted. Hair is transplanted in this pattern to create a natural appearing hair line.
After: Hair growth in the area transplanted is considerable after only 4 months. The hair will continue to thicken and grow up to 1 year following the procedure. The patient is planning on additional sessions to further augment the hairline.
