Skin Cancer Surgery Long Island, New York - Skin Cancer Facial Reconstruction

Being diagnosed with a skin cancer of the face, neck or scalp can be devastating for patients. Skin cancer commonly effects the most important aesthetic structures of the face including the nose, eyelids, cheeks, lips, and ears. Prompt removal and artful reconstruction is necessary to preserve the form and function of the face. Dr. Marotta is an expert in facial reconstruction following skin cancer surgery. He uses many different techniques: healing by secondary intention, partial and full thickness skin grafts, cartilage grafting,  composite grafting, local and regional flap surgery to reconstruct defects left by removal of skin cancers.
